![]() ![]() ![]() We have applied for the closed beta already and are currently awaiting response / invitation. Which music providers does Festify support?įestify works with Spotify. We intend to add support for other music providers (like Apple Music or Deezer) in the future. Integrating a music provider, however, is a lot of work so we have no precise plans yet. Can I set Festify to crossfade between tracks?įestify uses the Spotify Web Playback SDK under the hood, and as such, we are limited to the functionality it provides. The Web Playback SDK does not currently support crossfading tracks and neither can we access the music data directly so that we could implement crossfades ourselves (as we did in the first version of Festify that was based on libspotify, that is now defunct). Once Festify supports Spotify connect playback, however, you could set Festify to control the Spotify Desktop application, and that does support crossfades. Where can I ask questions or report bugs?.If you’re experiencing bugs or have ideas for new features, you can send us an email to create an issue on our GitHub project or tweet us trying to answer each request as quickly as possible.Have you ever looked at a festival lineup and thought, “meh, I could do better”? A new service imagines what would happen if you could do just that. Playing into festival mania, a new website connects to your Spotify to design a custom lineup poster based on your listening habits. “Festify” allows you to see what a festival would look like if it were based on your listening habits over the last month, the last six months, or your all-time habits. The poster for last month’s listen dubs the festival “Volcano Jam” and sports a graphic of dinosaurs. Your six-month listening history is the foundation of the earthy-sounding “Forestfest” and your all-time faves make up “Unholy Space 2019.” Radical. I plugged my own stats in to see what I got. Looks like it’s pretty heavily inspired by the recent Jukebox the Ghost/Mowglis show I went to.
